Best Hubsan Drone choices for this Year

We really liked this drone for all the features you get for the price. You basically get everything you need to get started from 2 batteries, a carrying case and convenient features for novice and advances pilots alike.

The Ultra HD 4k capability records up to 30 fps and provides exceptionally crip photography and film footage. The removable lens allows for the purchase of additional lens to provide different effects to your images. The additional filters you can purchase are ND4, ND8, ND16, and ND32.

The efficient and fold-able drone can fly for up to 23 minutes as long as you aren’t flying into the wind.

We feel this drone is a good value for the price and should on anyone’s list who is looking to take this up either as a serious hobby or entry to intermediate level professional use. And is one of Hubsan’s better drones for adults.

The 500 series of Hubsan drones come with a variety of configurations and an options. It can be somewhat challenging to determine which one is the best for you.

We looked a 3 features in helping us determine which was the better value. We looked at Flight time, Range and the image quality.

In the end we chose the H501SS model because if its longer flight time and longer range (400 meters). As a bonus it has the 1080p camera over the 720p camera models.

If you you have specific needs and don’t mind shorter flight time or the 720p camera resolution you may want to look at the H502S, H502E, H501S Pro and the H501A.

We feel this drone is a good value and hits the sweet spot of 20 minutes flight times and 1080p camera resolution. While we do love the Zino, this model is tough to ignore with a price point around 200 dollars less than the Zino model.

This little drone is a light weight and fast device. Dressed up like a bubble bee this striking aircraft darts through the airways with its brushless motors and sleek design.

The FPV mode works as expected and the 3D 360 degree flips are a fun way to spend the afternoon.

This drone isn’t as feature rich as the other drones (its intended to be a no frills racing drone) but it makes up for it in how fun it is to fly. The HD is a 720p camera and the flight time is also much shorter for this drone with a maximum of 7 minutes flight time. The range is also a little more limited at 150 meters.

This is a fun drone is perfect for someone looking to learn how to race and really doesn’t have a need for all the GPS features and super high definition found in some of the more expensive drones.

This small drone is a perfect drone for a beginner. Since it is an inexpensive drone you don’t feel like you will have lost to much if you should crash it.

That being said, the drone comes with extra propellers and a guard rail. These are nice to have as you will need to replace them over time.

When ordering these you should order an SD card for the drone if you plan on filming your flights. This model doesn’t come with the SD card you need to order seperately. Another useful item to order separately is a second or even third battery so you can swap out and continue flying.

In general the drone is easy to fly and doesn’t have a lot of added feature but allow a beginner to get in and focus on learning how to fly the drone without relying on GPS.

Hubsan touts this as World’s Smallest Quad-copter equipped with 6-axis flight control systems. It is really small and comes in a variety of colors (black, green, yellow, red, and white). The colorful design and small size make the Q4 quite attractive.

There is no photography with this drone due to its small size and it can be charged with a usb plug.

This drone is about as basic as it gets, no extra blades, no camera, a 6 axis flight controller and that’s about it.

These drones are probably more fun for kids because they look cute and they are more like a toy. This is one of Hubsan’s best drones for beginners and are great as a stocking stuffer at Christmas, or as gifts to hand out as small birthday parties. It also comes with a built in LED for night flying. Kids will love these as a fun toy to play with.

One of the really nice features that is unexpected is an entry level drone is the altitude hold feature. This model is a redesign of a previous version and we felt this model flies much smoother.

The images and video are listed as HD (1280X720) but to get good photos and video you need a calm day and a fairly steady hand.

The controls also allow for one button 360 flips which is really fun to play with and it makes it a snap for beginners to get in on the action.

It should be noted that while this drone is a soft plastic which helps reduce damage from crashes, you will want to get an extra set of propellers for when the inevitable crash occurs.
